Lake Tahoe
By Robert Bynum
August 25th, 2013
The east side of Lake Tahoe looking south towards Bonsai Rock. The water was pretty rough so I used a 1/4 second exposure to capture the flow over a nearby rock. The emerald colors in this lake are amazing.

Oregon's Painted Hills
By Robert Bynum
July 18th, 2013
The Painted Hills in Eastern Oregon, USA. The weather was perfect for viewing the painted hills. This photo was taken in the evening as we arrived late. Had to camp next to the road in the middle of nowhere.
Adobe Photoshop Elements was used to slightly increase clarity and vibrance but this is what it really looks like here.
The Tetons
By Robert Bynum
July 15th, 2013
Morning at the Tetons in Wyoming, USA. I hiked down a closed road to this iconic spot to catch the morning sun on the mountains and the reflection in the beaver ponds.

A cool place in the middle of nowhere with two 100+ foot waterfalls side by side.
The one not in this picture is called Kentucky Falls.

Anemone Pool Reflections
By Robert Bynum
May 20th, 2013
I used a circular polarizer to try and cut through into this pool with its many green sea anemones during sunset. Had to jump out of the way of the wave you see coming in. I like how the clouds reflected in the pool.
Adobe Photoshop Elements, B&W CP filter.
Photo Settings: 17mm, f/11, 1/50 second, ISO 50.

Just before sun drops below western horizon in Oregon. Orcas were cruising up and down in front of the rock ledge. Very cool evening.
