This park is located in Thornton, Colorado and is definitely one of the coolest parks I've been to. The view is amazing, it completely surrounds you, looking also out towards Denver and DIA. To me, this photo captures the essence of Colorado in the Summer - green grass, blue sky, sunshine, and peace.

"If I were to wish for anything, I should not wish for wealth and power, but for the passionate sense of potential -- for the eye which, ever young and ardent, sees the possible. Pleasure disappoints; possibility never." ~ Soren Kierkega

Looking towards Boulder, Colorado. This was taken on the day after our first big snowfall this Winter. There were still leaves on the trees, and everything was covered in ice, it was really beautiful!

Watching the sun rise in Colorado. Viewing East, from Flatirons Vista off of Highway 93.
"The surface of the earth is the shore of the cosmic ocean. On this shore, we've learned most of what we know. Recently, we've waded a little way out, maybe ankle deep, and the water seems inviting. Some part of our being knows this is where we came from. We long to return." - Carl Sagan, Cosmos
