At The Park
By Chris Gin
April 8th, 2009
I took this while waiting for the Sun to set behind me. The sunset turned out to be pretty average, but I quite like the lighting in this. I used HDR to bring out the tones.
Beautiful Morning
By Chris Gin
September 22nd, 2008
A beautiful sunrise this morning. Taken at Cornwall Park, Auckland.
Just Another Sunset
By Chris Gin
August 27th, 2008
With so many people complaining about the lack of sunset pics, I thought I'd come to the rescue. :) Taken at Coyle Park, Pt Chevalier, Auckland.

The Lookout
By Chris Gin
November 7th, 2008
A beautiful lookout on Waiheke Island, Auckland. I don't normally do HDR's, but this shot seemed to suit it so I gave it a go.
Hunua Falls
By Chris Gin
February 15th, 2009
Hunua Falls is a small waterfall located in the Hunua Ranges about an hour's drive southeast of Auckland. I used 10-stop ND filter for this shot to capture the moving clouds and get the water silky.

By Chris Gin
May 23rd, 2011
The famous lone tree in Lake Wanaka, New Zealand.
Canon EOS 450D, Tamron SP AF17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di II VC, Hitech GND filter.
Heaven's Gate
By Chris Gin
December 21st, 2009
I took this back in November 2008 and it's still one of my favorite shots. This is a sunset at Auckland's Muriwai beach, a beautiful but rugged beach and a popular spot for local photographers.
Canon 40D, Sigma 10-20, Hitech GND filters, Adobe Photoshop CS3.
Tracks to Nowhere
By Chris Gin
February 26th, 2009
I know this won't appeal to the masses - it's not your typical wallpaper. But someone did comment in one of my previous submissions that I should also take photos of 'less pretty' things. How about some ugly railway tracks?
