Tip to anyone wanting to get this result in a leaf: flatbed scanning won't work because it's reflective. To get all those details you need light to shine through the leaf. Google "DIY light boxes" for photography, that's what I used.

The Dilly is a free online community where members can choose among collections of 'rank' icons to display in their messages & profile header. All ranks were created using composite & illustration techniques in Illustrator & Photoshop. No 3D programs used.
