The Eleventh Hour
By Dominic Kamp
October 16th, 2015
This picture has been taken in 2013 in Corsica. It shows Ajaccio on the opposite shore, the main capital of this French island. Originally I wanted to further abstract the sky with falling stars but gave it a pass as most people probably don't like that. If you're still interested to see it, head over to my website and have a look.

Empire of the Alps
By Dominic Kamp
August 4th, 2015
Klöntalersee is a natural lake in the Canton of Glarus, Switzerland. Since 1908, it has been used as a reservoir for electricity production. The dam's construction substantially increased the lake's volume.
This is certainly one of my favorite lakes in Switzerland!

Skogafoss - Raw Power
By Dominic Kamp
July 24th, 2015
Skógafoss is a waterfall situated on the Skógá River in the south of Iceland at the cliffs of the former coastline and is one of the biggest waterfalls in the country with a width of 25 m (82 feet) and a drop of 60 m (200 ft).
According to legend, the first Viking settler in the area buried a treasure in a cave behind the waterfall but I couldn't find it...

Seealpsee - Late Summer in Switzerland
By Dominic Kamp
September 30th, 2014
Seealpsee is a lake in the Alpstein range of the canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden, Switzerland. At an elevation of 1,143.2 m, the surface area is 13.6 hectares. The lake can be reached by foot from Wasserauen or from Ebenalp.
For this picture I took a boat and shot three RAW pics with a Sony RX 100 MII, stitched them together with Autopano Giga and color corrected the photo with Photoshop. Then I got rid of a couple of hikers, hiring my dear friend Patch Tool, the executer. He lets people vanish without a trace.

Nightfall at Lake Aurora
By Dominic Kamp
July 31st, 2014
Composite of one of my Iceland Aurora shots (available on my homepage as wallpaper) and an old photo of Bannalpsee (Lake Bannalp) in Switzerland.
Once I finished combining the Aurora sky with the once daylight scenery of Bannalpsee, I used Flaming Pear's great Photoshop plugin -Flood- to create the Aurora reflections. I little tweak merges both layers so that the original ripples are combined with the new "fake" ripples of the Aurora sky. Then I mostly corrected minor artifacts and color fringing and last but not least, used Nik Color Efex to play around with the colors.
Let me know in the comments whether you liked it or what you'd improve. Enjoy!

Iceland's Ring Road is a national road in Iceland that runs around the island and connects most of the inhabited parts of the country. The total length of the road is 1,332 kilometres (828 miles). Some of the most popular tourist attractions in Iceland, such as the waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, and Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon, are also on or near the Ring Road.

This photo was taken near Adliswil at Lake Zurich, Switzerland. It is a single RAW photo and was post processed in Adobe Camera RAW (only a bit of color & contrast correction). The Moon was part of the original exposure and was not added later in Photoshop.

The Matterhorn is a mountain in the Pennine Alps on the border between Switzerland and Italy. Its summit is 4,478 metres (14,692 ft) high, making it one of the highest peaks in the Alps. The four steep faces, rising above the surrounding glaciers, face the four compass points.
