Peyto Lake, Canada.
Once you see the wolf you can never un-see it.
Took a 14 hour flight and drove 10 just to visit for a couple of days. It's amazing what photography can make you do. @destinsparks

Mount Hutton, New Zealand.
I was fortunate enough to capture this amazing light whilst leading our most recent Photo Tour in New Zealand. The majestic Mount Hutton is reflected in this secret lake within the Canterbury region of the South Island

My assistant and I recently braced -24°c in the United States. We drove 4516km (2806mi), hit 10 National Parks and crossed 4 States in just 8 days.
In preparation for my trip I closed my eyes, bowed my head and prayed for just one awe-inspiring photograph… and truly this is it - Yosemite National Park

Timeless Bond

Although there is certainly a poetry to the world when it's alive and full of people, there is simply nothing that can possibly compare to that same world when no one else is around. It is stripped of the extraneous energy and second hand emotion that occurs when you're lost in a crowd (even if that crowd is small). You're seeing it raw… bare. It's an otherworldly experience to say the least.
Now add sunrise to the mix. That's the time when the earth itself wakes up. Shades of understated grey give way to hues of lilac, violet, and lemon that simply don't exist later in the day. It is the visual equivalent of listening to an orchestra tuning up just before the performance of a lifetime.
This shot features a private boathouse along the main river of Perth. (If you've visited the area, you may know it well!)
At sunrise on this crisp winter morning, it appeared wise… knowing. A loan witness to this beautiful world at this extraordinary time of day, there at the end of that simple, weathered pier.

Eighth Wonder

Millaa Millaa Falls is Australia's most photographed waterfall and its not hard to see why. The 18 metre giant towers above the cool refreshing catchment beneath it. The setting is nothing short of an awe-inspiring oasis with lush ferns and tropical plants nestled along the bank among the mist.
This image was captured on film and is completely unaltered with the only exception being the crop which was required for Interfacelift. The original is 3:1 ratio panoramic and can found on my personal site. Enjoy

A classic look, no doubt. Taken at Byron Bay; Australia's most eastern point looking back across the land "down under" as it is often affectionately dubbed.
The Sun peaked from the clouds just before it set beyond the mountains and turned the doom and gloom into a majestic light show for all to see.

Burleigh Heads - QLD, Australia.
Sunrise at one of Queensland's favourite surf destinations. There's always a fine line between getting the shot and keeping dry. As usual, I crossed that line and went home drenched. No regrets.
