The Montenegran town of Kotor dates back to Roman times and is surrounded by 4km of city walls which encompass both the city and the mountains behind it. This picture was taken around mid day, there was still a touch of mist lingering in the mountains.

World Heritage listed columnar basalt in Northern Ireland. According to legend it was created by the giant Finn MacCool so he could cross the sea to Scotland to fight another giant there.

I arrived at the circle just before dawn, and after a few minutes the sun broke through the clouds to spectacular effect.

I arrived shortly before sunrise to avoid the crowds of tourists that are usually found here. I used my wide angle lens to fit the entire circle into the shot, I under exposed by a stop to avoid blowing out the brightest parts of the sky.
