This picture shows the famous Neuschwanstein Castle of King Ludwig II. Situated near Fussen (Bavaria, Germany) it attracts people from all over the world. You can tour not only the beautiful palace (from the inside as well as the outside) but also the incredible landscape including the Alps and the lake "Alpsee". That's why Neuschwanstein is an overall masterpiece that has to be seen in context of the surrounding nature.

Ponte Vecchio ("Old Bridge") is a bridge over the Arno River in Florence (north-central Italy). It is one of the oldest closed-spandrel segmental arch bridges in the world. Moreover, the bridge is covered with buildings like jewelers and souvenir shops that are still selling their products like in the Middle Ages

Ponte Vecchio looks very nice during daylight but I decided to capture it at night. To overcome the strong contrasts due to this setup I used the HDR technique. I hope you enjoy it.

During my stay in Stockholm one week ago I took this photo on my last evening there. A friend guided me to this place and it was just awesome watching the traffic in front of this outstanding city. Hope you enjoy it.
