This shot was taken in the pouring rain, hand held with the Rebel XTi, Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro and the 420ex. Bit of a lucky shot.

This shot was taken near Rizal Park on Beacon Hill, overlooking downtown Seattle. This is pretty much how it looked, I bumped the saturation a bit...Nice night!

This shot is looking through a sculpture in Kerry park at Downtown Seattle and the Space Needle.

This shot is a composite, 5 images I believe...taken hand-held at sunset.

If you can't beat 'em... This shot was taken with the Rebel XTi, 100mm f/2.8 macro and the 420ex. Tripod mounted, 1/1600th of a second @ f/10, ISO 400. The flash was bounced off a white board next to the water. The red color comes from the bowl the water was in. Post processing was pretty minimal. I lowered the white balance a bit to bring out the blue tones, then ran it through noise ninja and sharpened it in CS2. Hope you enjoy it, I had a good time experimenting with this set...

This is the business end of an LED flashlight, taken with the 100mm macro. Talk about suffering for your craft, I was seeing spots for days afterwards.
