This day presented me with optimal weather conditions. It was super windy so I decided to bump up my ISO and go for some "grainy-look" shots. I like the result. Hope you do as well.

So I'm at the beach in Monmouth, New Jersey trying to get a sunset shot and starting to become very disappointed because of these thiiiiiick clouds that were completely blocking out the sun to my 3 o'clock. All of a sudden, bam! It breaks and I'm able to capture this light. It lasted about 7 minutes and then more cloud cover and it was over. I guess I got lucky.

This is a shot of the George Washington Bridge from the New Jersey side at about 6:30 AM on January 1st, 2013.

I guarantee there were still people partying at that hour. I was too. With my camera. :-)

This is a shot of the Macy's Fireworks show this past July 4th. I t was taken from Weehawken, New Jersey as the show was held on the Hudson this year (way better than the East River). I got pretty lucky on this particular shot. I timed it just right and got the shot just as the three fireworks exploded. Thanks for looking!
