Almost looks like a Miniature or a model. But I like it.

Yeah, it definitely looks like a scale model. I'd like to see the original. But nice effect none the less.

Looks great!
It's a picture similar to the work of italian master of photography Olivo Barbieri.

Thank you.

This is a great tilt shift technique photo. I really like this one. It's not hard to look at it like some other ones out there. Check some out on flickr they have a group dedicated to this.

Thanks for the comments. Originally saw this wallpaper http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper/details.php?id=955 and it got my curiosity. Then I saw some photos of Olivo Barbieri which made me have a go at this :) The thing I like least on my image is the background blur that is a bit restless and distracting.

As requested, the original image I took:

It's not working for me. Too Mr. Rogers Neighborhood.

the reason it looks like a model is because he added the blur at both the top and bottom, and when you take a picture of a small object from a close distance with a cheap camera, this is the effect you also get.

A great photo. Looking at the original, I reckon this must be taken from the OTHER Cathedral, the Anglican one, because I cant think of any other building from which you could get this kind of overview of the area.

Great job masking the effect. It's very convincing. I still double-take when I see it.
