Baltimore Turtle

June 8th, 2007

I took this picture while at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. I intentionally did a small depth of field and focused on his eye.

This picture would be my wallpaper, BUT around the turtle theres grain and other things , i am sure its stuff in the water but i would like to see it touched up and pure black around the turtle to give it that full effect but other than that perfect shot :)

Awesome shot, but I just can't use it with the black box showing in the lower left corner. I agree...with a little touch up, this would be just perfect! Nice job.

Thats not called a Baltimore Turtle, its a diamondback terrapin (Malaclemys terrapin).
And yes, that black square is quite annoying, but can be covered up.
