I reallly like the black-to-purple gradation of this piece. Would you consider posting on the site a wallpaper with just the gradation?

This is definitely a cool idea. I'd like it better in a different color - I can't stand purple - but that's just my opinion. Other color choices would be cool, but overall you did a great job. :)
And capompete649, you have no right to call something like this "boring." Do you have anything better to do than sit around commenting on IFL wallpapers saying they're boring? That makes you look like a two year old. Next time, think before you comment. At least try to find something positive to say!

This is retarded. I can make better things in 3D, in programs like Maya, with my ass controlling the mouse.

I'm stupefied! Did you accomplish this all by yourself? Amazing! I would have thought something of this caliber could only be pulled off by George Lucas (He didn't help, did he?).
Instant classic and definitely going on my desktop. Reminds me of the giant ears of corn in Columbus, OH.

Keep up the great work!

Honestly...i dont like. The color choice was horrible, and it looks like a 3-year-olds copy and pasting in paint.

IMO, too bland, too simple, not enough variation, bad angle, and even if you did have those, it just honestly isn't a very good idea for a wallpaper. Again, just my opinion.
