Why do you tempt me so? Would it kill you to do a version in 2560x1600?? You did before....why not again? :(

I'd be lying if I said it wasn't discouraging to submit pictures when all you see is the same picture get approved 8 times in slightly different variations. It's like, okay, I may as well just not even bother.

Yeah, Richard, don't take these comments personally, it's just sometimes discouraging to us as photographers who send in dozens of pictures and never see them come on.
I think your work is personally fantastic, but when a lot of similarly desgined work is accepted from one artist instead of a variety of others, it's just discouraging.
For instance, if the admins accepted 10 of my guitar-leaning-on-the-same-wall pictures and none of yours. You understand.
Other than that, I really wish I could make those.

Personally I don't see any of them being the same, yes there all abstracts done in bryce but to me they all kind of look different. That's what I do. This one doesn't even look close to any of the others so please back off. olternaut-- I'll see if they'll accept a bigger one if I make it, thanks..Thanks everyone for the comments..

Interesting peices, i could stare at them for hours just looking how it all blends in. Some of the photographs on the other hand are so dull and some are so photoshop'd its stupid. I think these are great, extremely creative and i havnt really seen anyone else do this kind of stuff. I say well done and good luck to you. To the haters, dont be bitter at other people cos someone doesnt like your idea of art, Richard didnt personally deny you so stop trying to do it to him.

Richard, I actually like your work so don't take this personally as it's not about you. I'm getting a bit tired of the moderators here only sticking with the same stuff over and over again. If it's not a sunset, night shot, rendered image or a flower you don't have chance of getting posted. Some of the work that's been put up is atrocious. Am I bitter because my work is getting overlooked to post more of the same? Darn tootin I am, however, what I really want is a variety. Kind of like InterfaceLift used to offer. I've got a link to this site on my personal website with the description that this is the best wallpaper site on the web but I'm starting to think think that it needs an infusion of fresh work. Or maybe more than one person deciding what goes up.

I had to post to comment on your awesome work Richard. Don't be discouraged that other people's photos aren't being posted, because that is not your decision to make. You contribute more time per picture, than most people are willing to spend. Even though others spend a lot of time in other ways to get their great pictures. I appreciate your time, effort, creativity, and posting these online. Keep them coming man!

Thanks, try doing a search for bryce abstract and some tutorials should pop up. http://ending-eternity.deviantart.com/art/Bryce-Abstract-Tutorial-33560260 Their mainly tori with different colored lights inside a mirrored sphere with camera real close and then just moved all around till something looks nice..

We're a rock band from Switzerland and we've changed the green color to red and used this picture for our CD-Cover. Looks great...! Thanks to Richard for the permission. You can see the final cover on www.kaktus-rock.ch

Thank you Richard. Stormy Weather, Alienish, Stranded & Dolph are my particular favourites. At 2560 x 1600, they look fantastic on my 24 inch display. Excellent work in Bryce and Vue 7 Infinite. I am a professional photographer and I appreciate the care and attention that you have put into your outstanding work. I don't really understand some of the complaints I have read here under the comments heading. Real skill always shines through and you have that... in spades.

I love these. I do 3d renderings myself, but stick to photorealistic work world. These abstracts are awesome.
BTW, this 'alienish' one is freaky! At the center is 2/3 a man's/alien's face screaming back at the viewer.
'radiant' is my fav so far.

To the artist: Good job, this doesn't mean I don't like it, it just means that I have seen 6 other ones.
