Being from New York, I must say, I'm in love with this.

Beautiful, super shot!
However this is exactly the kind of business I'm NOT looking for in a desktop wallpaper. :-)

I agree with Erik. Good shot. I like it a lot, but I have a lot of icons on my screen that would all disappear if I threw that up behind them. Good for screensavers though.
Not as a criticism to this picture at all, but this shot shows exactly why I don't ever want to even visit New York. I'd go mad in a day.

I like this shot. It's good and I like the color cast.
An idea to try is to get a neutral density filter (sometimes they are built into some compacts like the Canon G7s and G9s) and they will decrease the light coming in. Then up the aperture higher and use a low ISO and that way you can get your shutter speed down to around 1/6 or less. Use a tripod and then take the picture. All the cars and people will be blurs and would contribute to the hectic-ness of the scene.

I think this is a tremendous picture, immediately made it my background. Do you have any other pics like this?

Great photo. I love urban cycling, so of course the cyclist caught my eye. It's a bit cluttered for someone who has a lot of icons, but I have none; so it's perfect :) It helps my sidebar and dock blend in, and I like that as well.

I just adore New York City and I'm in love with this brilliant shot!
I'm a little confused about it's location or if you distorted the image to get this to look the way it does? I know that sounds odd...but I know this spot and it looks nothing like this (anymore). LOL...the Hershey's building looks the same as does the Morgan Stanley building and I know this is just down the road from Times Square...The Argenti Billboard is still there as well as the billboard beside it...but the rest looks...too curved for that particular spot? It's hard to explain. I'm guessing this was taken a bit ago and I'm sure you were off to the side with a very good camera. If you're not too busy...I'd love if you could e-mail me to let me know.(Atrinoisa@yahoo.com) I'm very curious and intrigued! ^.^;;
Anyway...it's just a gorgeous shot and the colors are perfect for my Desktop!
