Head, 2 eyes are windows, nose is the door, tongue is the bridge...I hope you like this picture.

Wow, absolutely stunning. I love the symmetry and the colors. Everything is perfect. Something that would have been neat to try would be to turn on a flash (if it can reach the house) because you can get a pseudo-HDR look when you do that because it will illuminate the front of the house and make it more uniformly lit. It would be something to try (flash in sunlight is always an interesting technique). That's just something to try because I really like this photograph.

Wow! This is amazing! I love the reflections of the sky in the water, and as mentioned before, the symmetry.

Very nice photo! Not only is it a nice image but it's got enough "dead" space to make an awesome wallper. Keep up the good work.

This is a beautiful picture, and works great as a wallpaper. My icon dock actually sits right in the middle of the dock to the house and looks great, thank you :-)

Haha, i saw this wallpaper and thought "Ha. hat looks just like the boat shed on Mounts Bay Road (a road thats just round the corner from my house)". Then read the description and it is that boat shed. Funny, i see this like every day. So many people get their wedding photos done there.

Anyway, this is a great shot of it. You caught the river on a really good day. Great photo. Its good to see some local stuff on interfaceLIFT.

thanks for the comments everyone...much appreciated. This is probably the photo that really boosted my passion for photography. Taken a few months after I started, it was the catalyst for many other.

This is probably the most photographed Perth icon, and for me to get such a unique shot, I am stoked.

It works perfectly as a desktop background and I have been using it myself for a while - so thought i might share with thte rest of the world.

Adore it. Recognised it when I stumbled across it. Almost felt like walking out of the office and taking a quick ten minute walk down to the boat shed itself :o)

I showed this to my dad the other day, he was wondering if that's the South Perth Yacht Club and Heathcote in the background on the right hand side.

I pass by this building everday on the way to and from work. Beautiful building, but it's never looked as pretty as it does here. Well done.
