Maybe this artist wanted it that way. Too much stinkin advise on these comments. How about appreciating good art for what it is? I mean... advise is good but this place has gotten out of control.

I disagree rewind, the long exposure makes the waves seem smooth, and I like that. I think the photographer did that on purpose (the aperture was set to f/22).

Wow this is just so beautiful! The sunlight hits the water so perfectly and makes it look really cool. Good work!

Yeah I did go for the long exposure on purpose. I just wish the waves were a bit bigger, going over the rocks, but unfortunately it's just not that type of beach.

I agree with f8pcpaul about the effect the long exposure has on the waves - I really like it. Give's the image a haunting, ethereal feel. Very nice.

Nice photo, I live just around the corner in Devonport. I was always looking for some photo of Takapuna beaches like this one.

Great picture, wow, the colours are simply fantastic!
When I first saw it I wanted to set it as wallpaper, but I was in

trying to find way to change the wallpaper lol
Overall, it was a great experience for me :-)

Hey this looks exactly like the place where the movie "Man with the golden gun" was filmed. Saramaga's island. lol

Wow, this is absolutely beautiful: melancholy, peaceful, invigorating . . . not all at once; the picture is meaningful no matter the mood.

This setting looks so romantic and peaceful. I wish it was that kind of beach where the waves were rough. It would have been nice to see the waves crash against the cliff

Excelent photograph, very nice lighting.
I agree with J3rmz0r in the there are too many people trying to tell others how to take there photos. People will shoot 'em how they like 'em, just let them be.

nice shot... however, a little constructive criticism doesn't hurt anybody.. certain people need to lighten up.
