Oh... You know what... I normally refrain from leaving negative comments on the basis that if I have no constructive observations to make I might just as well not say anything but in this case I feel "forced" to address InterfaceLift... Is this *really* up to the standard of the site? If so I'm afraid that soon enough I'll have to find somewhere else to download wallpaper from.

I'm gonna have to agree with VirgulLinux here, this, honestly, seems kinda sloppy, just kinda thrown together at the last minute. It's a cool idea, but I don't think it's IFL-worthy. Sorry.

IFL, don't listen to these guys, I enjoy the variety. I don't mind seeing something that doesn't suit my tastes; not saying that this doesn't, I really like this...I'm just saying it for those who may forget to be tollerant and enjoy what they got...a FREE, well oganized, constantly updated, no pop-up crap, high user partispation wallpaper and graphics site. YOU'LL BE BOOKMARKED FOR LIFE...and i'll keep clicking on adverts to keep you guys going!

Please only click on advertisements in which you are genuinely interested. We appreciate your support, but fraudulent clicks hurt the site, not help it.

I couldn't help but think of those weird Quiznos mice from that commercial when I saw this picture.

Ladies and gentlemen, PUH-LEEZE.

Occasionally you have to sit through something that sucks to further your appreciation of the better things in life.

Can't you just say you don't like it and move on?

I don't like it. But it doesn't mean I won't be back here tomorrow.

I don't like it either, and that's ok. But to know this was accepted when a previous photo I submitted was not really irritates me. The moderator really picks odd-ball stuff. It's like a random prize drawing. This is why I don't bother submitting anymore.

"IFL, don't listen to these guys, I enjoy the variety."

I too enjoy variety - but I'd rather my wallpapers don't look like they've been produced in MS Paint by seven year olds (no offense to the 'artist').

My brother is the artist of the picture, he is only 16. It was the first picture he ever submitted to IFL. I told him there was no chance they put it up, it was cool considering it really is his eyes, but I knew it wasn't near as good as most of the other pictures. I am happy for him, he submitted it, and the next day it is up, I was in shock. He didnt spend to much time on it, as some of you have pointed out. Either way, I can only laugh at those who have been trying to get theirs posted, you got outdone by a 16 year old.

No. They got outdone by some really bizarre criteria used by someone at IFL who approved your brother's "not so polished" creation.

'Either way, I can only laugh at those who have been trying to get theirs posted, you got outdone by a 16 year old.'

The immaturity is ridiculous. Grow up. I'm sure a lot more deserved pictures should have got this spot.

Well done on submitting. Shame it was accepted.

I actually really like this picture, the only thing that throws it off is that the eyes are too close together, but besides that I feel like it is a real work of art. People need to remember that this is not a photo only site where only HD quality photos are allowed. I love the stark contrast between the colors and the green in the eyes is beautiful.

Great work!

And for people who don't like it, stop being pricks, suggest something to help the artist especially if they're new.

"suggest something to help the artist especially if they're new."

Nah, that doesn't work. Every time I've tried to offer constructive criticism, even when tempered with a positive statement that I actually like the image, I've been flamed. Unless you offer up the standard "I love this image" comment you are chum for the sharks.

These remind me of a pair of green eyes I wouldn't mind looking at right now.

Why does this remind me of Lady Gaga?
