Would absolutely be my wallpaper if that bird's eye didn't sorta creep me out. Fabulous photo though. Nice work!

Fantastic colors - the birds eye does creep me out a bit, as well :) Maybe a good Halloween wallpaper...

Super cool. It's so craZy wild in color and point of interest that it looks like a taxidermy example. LOL. Great work!

I'm loving the contrast of colors between blue and orange. The branch nearly sticks out at your face almost like you could grab it and hold the bird on your finger. Great job!

johnnyrocket, maybe he knows what a Bluebird is, but decided to title this piece "Blue Bird" because of the very vivid blue part of it. Anyway, I'm with everyone else: nice shot! I wish I could take pictures like this. lol

Absolutely fabulous! What's so freaky about the eye? It's just how it is - different.

Actually, I think if the whole thing were in focus the wooden poles in the background might become a problem and take the emphasis off those in the foreground, making it a bit busy. Also, why would you want your eye to go up the hill and out of the picture each time you look at it? This way the focus on the vines in the foreground keeps your attention within the picture and stops you getting dizzy!

Apologies for the post about the eye. Don't know what went wrong there but obviously I was commenting on a different photo altogether and it has come out in the wrong place. :-)

There is something really weird happening with my comments. They are all appearing in the wrong place. Apologies! (Is this happening to anyone else?).

I don't why but this makes me think of Edgar Allan Poe. Great colors and use of depth of field.
