I really like this picture. Where was it taken? The long grass looks fun to run through. ; )

Very well composed and serene. Because of the low vantage point I'm intrigued about what the full scene looks like. We cannot see the shelter in its entirety. However, the three major elements--sky, ground and building--really do complement each other nicely.

I think I like it so much because I went to a vacation spot with my boyfriend that looked very simalar to this and it was one of the best times of my life. We didnt stay in a little shelter though. lol.

Oh wow. This is beautiful. Some people only see the subject and then ask "yeah, so what? It's a little shelter with some grass." But there is so much more to it than that. In fact, there's so much that I could make a very long comment about it. So, I want to keep it simple and just repeat myself: Oh that is so beautiful. There's a hint of dreaminess to it. I like it! I also like "Not so good on windy days though..." :)

Really now, this shot is amazing!! I like this grassy sort of scenes, among others. @ s1ipp3ry : I don't want to be rude, but some of the pics you like, others might not... As for me, I think this is just great.

well, it doesnt look so bad as a thumbnail, not that good once looked at in full resolution. its kinda fuzzy, cant find a focus there. the dubious wooden structure looks at first like its made of rusty metal beams, and is anything but nice to look at, and at first i thought the brown stuff on right looked like horse manure. who would want horse crap on their desktop?

This is excellent, and I think the "brown stuff on right" is recently dug up dirt, looks like for putting in pipes or electical lines or something. The colors are wonderful and the light hitting the grass makes this photo. Thanks again Chris.

Im guessing it was taken somewhere in New Zealand, most likely near Auckland as that's where Chris is from (I think). @Ambitiionz, it doesnt snow alot in NZ :(

Oh yeah and beautiful shot Chris, it makes the eye flow nicely from the bright sky on the left, along the horizon to the darker colours of the structure.

I'm loving how the grass has a nice soft focus, almost glowing sort of effect going. I'm a big fan of your other submissions so thanks again for all of your amazing work.

Chris you're doing some fantastic work. It's hard to believe you can capture these sort of colours in our backyard. Beautiful, simple, and definitely a favourite.

It Burns - Horse manure? You need a trip to the optician, methinks. Obviously a stone wall... But why mention having horse manure on your desktop when you eventually worked out that it WASN'T horse manure? There is a lovely, soft, relaxing feel to this photo. I love the grass - the detail is fantastic. Worth moving your icons to the left of your screen for.

Wonderful. I love the colors and the angle. But I'm angry because the techie inside me does not want a nature photo on my desktop.
It makes my choices really slim. This is one of the nature photos I would put on my desktop if I was a nature lover.
Good work.

Nice photo indeed. But... buttom right corner. I know what You did there, and it looks ugly. Fix it, and it will be top noch. :)
