Not a bad capture, love the nice green colors.

Wouldn't use it myself as a desktop but that's just my opinion.

I like everything about this submission except for how it looks on my desktop. Great subject, great shot, and truthfully I really like it. But for me it doesn't work as a background. Don't know why.

yeah... not as a background. I like it- really cool shot. The patterns are very fine. But its so repetitive... sorry. I can't use it. Keep submitting! ilike your ideas!

I believe it's a really great subject. I think it would be cool to use it as a texture in Photoshop or some program. Taken very well. Keep working on it.

Yeah, I wouldn't use it as a background, but like the pic overall.

This field, if looked at differently, looks like an actual tea leaf up close. Its a cool effect that I'm not sure you were trying to create. Great shot.

I usually like organic geometry, but oddly I have to agree with the previous posters. This one doesn't seem to sit well as a desktop. I wonder if it's the perspective. Perhaps the angle is somehow claustrophobic? Hmm. The subject is really cool, and I like the colors, but something isn't clicking for me. Do you have a similar shot with some horizon in it?

What confused me first about this image is that there is no frame of reference regarding size. Mentally I was trying to pin down the scope of the scene. It's difficult to do even though I know the approximate size of a tea plant. Second, and perhaps being a more Zen like observation, "What happens when it rains on a field of tea plants--free tea?"

I'm in agreement with most of the comments here in that it is a beautiful subject matter and shot, but doesn't quite work as a wallpaper due to it's repetetive patterns. Looking at it merely from a photographic sense (instead of how it fits as a wallpaper) I give it an A+...nicely done.

@stubulman...I love your Zen observation of "free tea when it rains"...I may have to quote you on that sometime.

Plus my name is Cameron, so this is perfect for me!
Thx a lot.

It's too emprecise as wallpaper. I mean, that the leaves of bushes are visible too clearly.
