wow, really good looking wallpaper. It would rock in green though, Any ideas on how to shift the colour?

Photoshop - Turn the image in Lab mode - then play with sliders or curves (CMD+K) but
why change a PEACE OF ART? )))

I think buck2825 is saying it looks like a stock microsoft wallpaper. I believe it looks more like a stock Mac wallpaper though. I am not too fond of this one though some people will like it.

I believe buck2825 was saying that because BJBProductions's comment,
"Are they the right aspect ratio?" Apparently he thought it was a really obvious thing (as IFL gives an error if you try to upload using the wrong aspect ratio) and Microsoft is kind of known to give really random, obvious messages/errors, etc. That's my interpretation. Oh, and cool wallpaper mx-steel.

Totally agreed, Joost. It's pretty random.
It's not a bad wallpaper. A bit too many shades of purple for my taste, though. I'll probably add some contrast for my own use.

"Microsoft is kind of known to give really random, obvious messages/errors, etc." As a 20 year dual platform user this is pretty funny. Apple has had a history of the most arcane, random error messages. I fail to see what Microsoft or Apple has to do with anything here and anyone who hasn't used both to the extent I do has no idea of the shortcomings or benefits of either. Neither is perfect and in my day to day use neither is the winner, oh, and for the Linux users neither is Linux. As for the image, I love simple, easy on the eyes wallpapers like this. They make for very nice clutter free desktops with a presence of color that the user prefers. It made me have to go to your deviantART page and pick up the other colors. Very nice.

Usually I don't like wallpapers that are dark around the edges but this is one of those rule-confirming exceptions. It's very fluid and artistic, grabs attention but is not distracting.

Now second of all since noone of IFL answers my email, how come, even though i read that i must keep posting images, none of my images make it to the homepage? They aren't that bad in my opinion :)
