The depth of field on this shot is great! And your dog is adorable.

I love this picture. I can't make it my wallpaper though because that dog is WAY too cute! I want to hug it so bad now. Good job.

That's a beautiful dog, and a great wallpaper. I disagree with lerch's comment regarding the blur. For me personally I feel that if the background was in focus as well then it would have distracted from the subject and hindered your photograph; so in my opinion you did well to focus this picture - it really guides our attention. Very nice.

Thank you for your comments. Yes, I like blurred wallpapers, too, because I have lots of icons. But I understand that people don't want it as a wallpaper, he looks so sad. But when I took this picture, we were playing, he was having fun. I guess that shows that you can't portrait someone or something with 1/60th of a second.

Seriously looks like an awesome dog. Has me thinking of getting a black lab. But it seems more like a personal wallpaper for the photographer to enjoy. I mean, thanks for sharing of course, but not my brand of wallpaper.

The funny thing is: I'm not even a dog person. But now that they're older, no more pee-pee in the house, so I like both of them (we have a brown lab, too).

I uploaded a portrait of that dog on my website, I can't post it here (because it's a portrait).

Although this dog can be easily mistaken for a pure-breed Labrador, he is in fact a boxer/black Labrador. Funny thing is that his sister does not even resemble him. But no matter how you look at it, these two pooches are the greatest dogs in the world. (I am the actual and proud owner)
