it looks ok for an abstract piece, but I'd like to see it zoomed in and cropped to be honest. They are such strong colors yet they seem weak to me.

It's a nice work, but I think the drawing is too little compared to the background and even the color of the background is too dark..I think a higher colour would be better! anyway you are very skilled with photoshop!

I do not know what is it. It seems like a lip to me. Beautiful creation.

I don't know if this has been suggested before, but have the staff considered separating wallpapers into "image type" categories? For example, one category could be "photography", and another could be "illustrated/3d".

Are artists allowed to submit every resolution that is available for users to download? If they are, I assume this would cut down on time between new images drastically, and artists would want to do it, as it would give them more chance of being featured.

I like it, nice colors and contrast from the background.

The iPhone app, Backdrops has categories. Works nice.

I don't understand the people who say the picture would be better if.... I expect an artist who can create so stunning an image has his own reasons for every feature in it. And, it being his creation, his reasons are the ones that count. One can say "I would like it better if this or that were different"; that's a personal preference and people have a right to their own. But to suppose their preference is superior to the artist's judgement is presumptuous.

That's it! I can't take it anymore! I'm browsing this site for a year now and I check this page on a daily basis but TODAY is finally the day I HAVE TO sign up! This work.. no, ART, is AMAZING!

Stylish as can be, room for interpretation, friendly colors, ... THE perfect wallpaper!

Thank you so much for making this professional work free for all!

Thanks for all the comments! I'm glad you guys like it.

To address some of the comments:
@Genocide - Yup, it was mostly made with the pen tool
@chogan & lerch84 - I appreciate the feedback. I guess it just depends on how minimalistic you are. I like to leave a lot of space around my designs so people have room for their desktop shortcuts and folders.

Feel free to ask any other questions. I'll be happy to answer them

It reminds me of the center of one of those old marbles, like these: http://www.photoblogster.com/images/20060211182945_marbles.jpg

Is there any chance of a 2560x1600 version? It doesn't look great when upscaled. Great wallpaper regardless, thanks!

Awesome! I really like this one - any chance of getting it rendered in 2560x1600?
