Wallpapers (for computer-use) have been aptly named. They're generally meant to sit in the background, look attractive and not be too imposing. This image breaks the aforementioned notions. It's so incredibly sharp that my eye wanders all over the place, as almost everything seems to be in focus. I find it hard to look at.

what is going on?? two excellent shots in one day?

going back to wladimir's yesterday photo of cala formentor, what does this picture have this his doesn't? composition. idea. harmony. feelings. you name it. things you may not necessarily see or sense just being being there, but things you will get looking at the photo.

wladimir shot was probably very similar to what i would see with my own eyes if i was standing next to him, not taking pictures, just looking. whereas this guy Mocus CREATED a photo. and a beautiful one at that.

the only thing i dont like, is that at 100% zoom it's got Nikon written all over it. i believe a Canon would do this scene more justice. or maybe it's just the levels pushed a little too high up. either way, excellent photo that belongs on my desktop.

I like the clearness and the yellow color of grain of the fields on the hill..but I think the sky isn't at the same level..you could have done better, maybe only just taking the photo with a different sky, without clouds for instance!

My eyes may be deceiving me, but the focus of the foreground up to the ridge where the road first crests seems a bit muddy to me. The far mid-ground and the background seem to be much more realistic and appealing. The composition is very nice. Keep clicking and will keep picking!

Normally I'm not too fond of big farm equipment in a countryside scene but in this particular photo the antique machine complements its surroundings. Great work. I agree with lerch84 that the sky and mountains seem to be lacking the vibrance that the foreground has. That is my only qualm with this picture. Keep up the good submissions :)

I have been to Tuscany in a villa for quite a few days and this picture captures a lot of components of the farm life. Great job and keep it up!
