Blue Maritime

July 3rd, 2009

The Fremantle Maritime Museum is an amazing building. It has a "Sydney Opera House" style of architecture to it with a big sweeping shell of a roof which represents the upturned hull of a dinghy. Spectacular lines and aspects everywhere.

Very contemporary and modern. Rather nice to look at, but personally I'm into more natural objects on my desktop. Just my opinion though, fantastic photo and post-processing nonetheless. :)

I think it makes a great wallpaper. Although I wouldn't want to print it out and hang it on the wall in my dining room or up in a gallery... which is what some of you want out of a wallpaper site.
I think its a great composition and PP.

Very nice architectural study. A slightly different colored sky would give the image a tad more depth and really make a great statement. Your work is excellent.

I like it, you can't tell it is a roof.. and strangely enough it also looks like it has been sketch-drawn because of the lines on all the rectangle sides!

This one is so great that it can be used as a part of Architecture theme in Windows 7. And yes, it's on my desktop and it will stay there for some time! Thnx!

Brilliant. The colour and composition makes it a perfect desktop imo - sitting on my ubuntu desktop beautifully.

I was kinda surprised when they posted this one myself, it is a lot different to what I normally shoot. Ah well...some will love, some will hate :)
