Really nice work, and I love the concept, though, perhaps a bit too bright in the red and white areas. Still, very cool and keep them coming, some of your other submissions are my all-time favorites!

Personally I prefer your previous works..looking at them I think you can do better both with Photoshop and your digital camera!

Usually I find faux space desktops with trees or people silhouetted against stars kind of cheesy. I prefer my star desktops to be real, but this one has a tastefulness to it that others dont. I really like it, great work!

In my opinion it's absolutely beautiful, this is fantastically done. Thanks for uploading it! And by the way, Zach2393 I think your comment is completely unnecessary.

If you don't like it, don't comment, unless it's constructive criticism. What you said is totally unproductive.

Have to agree with Frozen about the brightness of the red. But then I also have to agree with Mredpopo about everything else. I normally HATE faux anything desktops, but this is excellent.

I've got the 1600x1200 version on my desktop right now and I think the colors are just right. I love the way the colors change and the glow surrounds the tree. It's a fantastic image.

Nice, I quite like this. Only thing I would prefer is if the tree wasn't dead centre (though I notice you use this central composition in quite a few of your shots so I guess you do it on purpose?).

@Chris: Exactly, I'm a symmetry freak! ;-)

Macindows, I thought that was you lurking in my back yard! How are things on the home planet?

This struck my eye immediately. Whether you like it or not (which I do), it has the stamp of a real professional written all over it. Bravo.

Love the concept. My primary dislike is that the grass and tree are too colored and not dark enough to stand against the sky. It would be nice if the tree/grass were closer in color.

Very nice concept although one thing I dislike about it is that the glow from the sky seems to be going in front of the grasses and tree. I know it's very sci fi/fantasy, but it seems that if it were real the glow would be more behind the tree and grass. (Maybe you just got your layers in PS in the wrong order?)

honestly, this is a very good concept-but the red and hwite colours on the right side distract the rest of the image, which makes it hard to see the rest of the image which may be need to be seen more depending on their desktop layout. but, maybe if you put in different colors (may i recomend a dark purple?) to replace the white and red, this wouldn't be a problem.

Very nicely done. Personally I love the red in the corner and the slight unbalance it adds to an otherwise symmetric picture. The more I look at it, the more I think it could be the artwork for a band's CD.

Excellent work. Almost makes me feel a little sad at the enormity.

In my favorites but I think there is too much glow in the center--a night sky deserves a better attention. Thanks for great work.

People are entitled to their opinions but I have to say this picture is mighty impressive with its depiction of dusk through to dawn. That's why I am not at all put off by the brightness of the color red being a brighter.

Pictures like these have a sci-fi feel to them which reminds us to look up at the sky from time to time to rediscover our place in the current universe.

Your pictures so far have been quite inspiring. Please keep up the great work.

two thumbs up.
