A magical place indeed. While Googling Ponta do Sol, I found this quote from the Estalagem da Ponta do Sol web site: "An escape from the norm, a return to essentials..."

MasterChief, another great job. It has been an expected success to take pictures at this site. I think it's the same place of the previous post, right? The light is as good as. So, congratulations!

rgarjr, I think it's Portugal.

eknirb, sorry but I do not understand. Do you want a tip from software to change the size of photos or a hint of how much can be dangerous to go to this place? You said you already took the photos?

Greetings to all.

@Lenses -- If the "OR" is confusing you (as it did me for a while), I think eknirb means Oregon. Actually, having just Googled it, he does. Multnomah Falls is in Multnomah, Oregon.

@Lenses -- Or maybe I was confused. I just reread your comment and think I'm the one who's misreading things. Ah well. :-)

trout, was not it. Actually I was confused at first, but I Googled and saw that there was Oregon. I did not understand the rest.

From another military vet; you have some awesome work on IFL. Used your pix for my CPU background MANY times. Thanks, and keep them coming!

Hi there.
I was born in Ponta do Sol, Madeira Island in Portugal.
I really want to give my congratulations to MasterChief about this photo. Thanks. So many times I have dived there. It's a old pier built in the rocks. I recommend Ponta do Sol and Madeira to spend great time of your holidays.

MasterChief, you take the most amazing pictures I have ever seen. You never got back to a previous comment I left you, You let me know where you live because I was curious how you travel so much, but ya never let me know if you were in the Navy or not, I was in the Navy on a carrier, just curious how long you were a MasterChief for...

OhlinO I'm not in the navy, and i don't travel much.
These photos are in Madeira Island-Portugal. The nick came from the halo game, that i played a lot.
