This looks to be a good example of what HDR can do, providing some shadow detail and preventing burnout in the sunset, without excessive flattening of the image as so often happens in HDR. Good job.

I, too, think the color is great. I also like the peppering of stones on the beach juxtaposed to the peppering of boats on the water.

Finally an HDR image done right.
