Unforgettable Bryce
December 5th, 2009
This is Bryce Canyon, Utah. The Sun was setting in front of us and created a highlight behind the hoodoos. Apart from the light, the sand sediments have created a wonderful range of orange and red tones. I hope this fragile environment will stay this way for many more years!
Canon EOS 5D Mark II, 24-105L with polarizer. Development in Adobe Lightroom, adjustments in Adobe Photoshop.

Whoa. It looks like you grabbed some massive lights and did some ultra-professional lighting techniques down in the canyon! This is is beautiful!

I almost skipped this because I saw Bryce and instantly thought Bryce 3d landscape, which I hate and should be expunged from the internet, digital vomit....IMO. Whoops, went off a bit there. Anyway, I'm glad I decided to look. Magnificent shot. Thank you.

I've been fortunate to see Bryce Canyon a couple times in my life. Every time I see it I'm awestruck. This is truly one national park that needs to be on peoples "to visit" lists.

This a alright but I find it a little cluttered for a wallpaper.
Yes, the scenery and lighting is gorgeous but this really cries out for a panoramic wide angle shot.
Your plane image is still on my desktop tho :)
