Some great colours and detail. Too bad the small thumbnail preview doesn't convey this image's strengths adequately.

I saw this submission in The Loupe and was really hoping that it received enough votes to be posted for download. I love everything about it... The lighting, the texture of the rocks, the water, the foliage... Outstanding photograph! Thanks for sharing!

IFL commenters are such bandwagoners. If this was a Chris Gin shot, it would have double the comments and they'd all be kissing his ass.
Only on this website could so many people find so much wrong with a beautiful shot like this.

I actually love the bizarre depth of field here. Looks like hyper-realistic CG or an extremely detailed painting. Of course, this is mother nature! Very cool shot.
1337, Chris gets plenty of respectful criticism. Anyway, there's a reason some things become "bandwagons". You don't have to resent success for the sake of it.

This works for me on so many levels but as a whole it's missing something .
The colours, textures and especially the water are all totally sublime :) It is so refreshing to see water as it really is and not as some blurred, foamy mess taken with the ever popular loooong exposure.
But, as mentioned before, the depth of field is lacking for some reason.
Great submission, though. And a beautiful wallpaper.

A tad bit over saturated but a great shot nonetheless. Thanks and I look forward to seeing more in the future.
@1337gamr: constructive criticism is a good thing. I love to get CC'ed on my photos. While it stings a bit at first its great to hear what other people see with fresh eyes.

I also wish there was more of the water visible. I'm curious what filter you used on your camera, or what photoshop filter you used to clean it up. It looked very much like it was created digitally, CG or something....
