Nice photo...I found that after slightly taking away some of the color in Photoshop, I liked it better on my desktop..but just my preference..so i'm not saying its better that way.

I quite like this, but I would love to see a tiny amount of detail from within the barn, perhaps using some hdr or selective blending, rathen than a solid black mass.

Very nice photo... It takes me back to my Grandparents farm (which just happens to be in Texas!) where I spent many days in my youth. I just purchased my first DSLR camera yesterday (an EOS Rebel T1i!) and I know where I'll be breaking it in this weekend. Thanks for sharing and for the inspiration!

Thanks for the comments, everyone. I have a great interest in photography, all I need is time and opportunity.
I actually took (and submitted) a number of images from that trip down to South Texas around Thanksgiving. I even used to play in this barn when I was younger.

The black void is just begging for the viewer's picture of choice to be inserted. In Photoshop you can select the black area easily and then with the "Past into" command insert an image into the space.
