Yay.. some splatter brushes randomly placed on a gradient background. Not to mention the apple logo with a blue stroke and inner shadow.
Nothing personal to the creator, but it's not my taste and I've seen better here on IL.

For the few of you who are unhappy with this one, if you didn't already, take just a second and read the description. And since IFL released two images today, I suspect this one is simply an extra release in honor of the "big doins" going on at Apple today. Certainly this won't be to everyone's tastes, but it's not meant to be. This is just an extra release for all those people psyched up about today's event.

You know, Runt, I really hate when people make comments like the one that you posted. I don't particularly like this particular wallpaper, but that's just my own personal taste. However, to point out that how he created it, because you feel like it was easy, is really irrelevant.
It's not about how difficult something is to create, it's about the end result and the composition in which the artist applies it all. Something doesn't have to be challenging and complex to be appreciated.

Very nice. There was an iPod commercial from a while back (I believe when they first introduced the multi-colored Nano's) and it had splashes of paint around the Apple logo. I always thought the concept would make a nice wallpaper, and this does.

I'd love to have this wallpaper sans the Apple logo. The colors are great, but the logo makes me feel like such an Apple whore. :p

While I think the iPad will be a complete and utter failure, I really like this image. Thanks for sharing! (I'm a loyal iPhone and multiple iPod owner so don't flame me for my view on the iPad)

@Frostmint: As to "How could anyone not like this?" My guess is Apple users like it, non-Apple folks don't like it. My cousin likes it. I don't like it. She has an Apple computer and iPhone. All four of my computers have various and sundry versions of Windows installed, and my smart phone is Windows Mobile.
