Very lovely shot. I love the juxtaposition of the white shutters to the red wall.

Very nice, indeed! I absolutely hate Valentine's Day type wallpapers, but this one works simply as a wonderful piece of art. Thanks much.

It's funny to see that if it hadn't been for "On The Beaten Path's" (Richard Mohler) troll attack, this picture would have been teared apart!

I really hope it's gonna stay that way! Always remember, this place is free for everybody and comments are generally only there for positive or constructive feedback!

Thanks for the kind comments everyone! Okay, so here's the scoop on this photo. It was actually taken by my girlfriend, the beautiful Amelie! :) It was taken by her and her camera setup (gift from me) which is a T1i and a 18-135 "kit lens" (I say "kit" because it's a very good lens for being so inexpensive). She had edited the photo a little as well, I just put a few finishing touches on it in Photoshop and uploaded it. It's such a beautiful photo! The heart was NOT added by me. Only things added my my gf and I were vignetting, saturation/levels adjustments and noise-reduction. That's it. The photo was cropped from 4:3 to 16:10 and so the framing is as good as I could get. I think it works perfectly. I have been using it as my desktop background for almost a week now.
I hope my girlfriend is reading this as this (I hoped) would be part of her Valentine's Day gift! Thanks to everyone who voted for this photo and the kind comments. I think this will inspire her to get her own account on here and submit her own photos through that (she didn't know I uploaded this one!)

Different but nice. The 1080p version link seems to be broken.

The colours go very well with the colours... the vignetting adds drama to the shot... great!
