Camp Meeker Waterfall

March 7th, 2010

I hiked up to this very calm pleasant spot. I had heard of this waterfall but never seen any images of it.

Canon EOS 5D Mark II, EF 24-105mm f/4.0. 6 second exposure at f/18. Adobe LightRoom 2.

6 seconds? Were you using some sort of ND filter?

Great photo - my wallpaper of the week - but it is impossible that you have used 6 seconds of exposure!
Water movement does not seem to be from 6 seconds and the wind should be completely absent.... you sure?

I think it says .6 sec exposure.

Exif says 6 seconds. Giovanni, why is 6 seconds impossible?

My meta data says 6 sec exposure, f/18, ISO 50, It also was very shady in this area.

Sorry, I did not see the EXIF data.
The scene seems so ... static.
Not a leaf stirs ... but I was wrong, of course.

My apologies. Anyway, great shot.

I like this photo but I don't think it is good for my desktop. Good work

Nice to see this image finally make it's way here. This is perfect as far as exposure, compo and colors go. Even though it does not seem to be a large waterfall I do like this image a lot.
