The Fall

April 29th, 2010

Took this in the fields of Yosemite. Lush green fields and amazing fall. Shutter priority mode to freeze the fall of water.

NIkon D90 with 18-200mm VR II.

Restful and majestic at the same time. I took the liberty of cloning out the dead tree to left of frame.

I love the US national parks!!
Yosemite is very impressive! Have you also pictures from the Glacier Point? With the view to Half Dome?
In my opinion the Glacier Point is the place with the best view in the whole park!

Thank you for this picture. Great shot...

I'm actually much more impressed with your other submission of Yosemite, having been there as well.

You should have used polarizer filter--it would have taken out the hazy washed out colors at the top of the picture.

I always wonder how people get to these places.. Looking at those pictures, I want to be there as well..

Not using it as a background as I prefer something slightly more calm, but it's a great picture nonetheless!
