When The Road Met The Sky
May 6th, 2010
Driving back from a great sky trip in Fernie, British Columbia, the sky opened up to let its blue color through. I just had to stop and lay down on my belly to quickly snap this shot as a car down the highway 22 was approaching. It was peaceful moment.

I love this picture. I think that you did a great job with it! This is one that I actually downloaded first in Loupe Downloads.

Very nice! Like it alot. I did a similar shot in Death Valley. Unfortunately I did in portrait format so it's not very useable for IFL.

Difficult shot to take, but we're all thankful that you did. This is a fantastic effort!
I *love* the color of the sky. That is as close to perfect as I have seen in a long time.

@OneDunya: the loupe voting system doesn't tell who the photographer was so people who consistently get selected are probably just talented.

What makes this picture for me is the roadbed extending across the entire bottom of the frame and having the vanishing point only a short distance above that. Tremendous perspective.

@humbert: I don't feel the way that OneDunya does, but I thought you should know that you can also click on a particular artist and from their page vote for their Loupe submissions exclusively. Don't know how many do; don't really care. But just figured I'd mention it.
