Clearly one of your very best submissions. I love it, thanks for sharing.

I really love the sky.

But I dislike the rocks and the sand on the left, it's too grainy.

I'd really like to have the whole picture in a blue theme, I set everything to blue these times :)

Have to agree with Euphytose. The rocks and sand are what has kept me from downloading this one. The sky is quite nice though.

Banding, banding, banding. New, decent monitors and/or eyeglasses for everyone.

Aaaagh! I am so offended by this banding! It's a terrible insult to me that a CGI would have such amateurish banding! I must go out and buy new eyeglasses because...wait...wouldn't new eyeglasses make the banding MORE clear, and thus more offensive?

I am so glad that bmndibb3 is here to point out these horrific mistakes.

(Actually, Richard, I really like this! It's very 'red planet' and it's sitting on my desktop. Keep up the great work!)

Hehe, reminds me of the area around Jabba's palace in Tatooine.

Thanks guys..Actually I don't think that's banding just a part of the clouds...:)

This looks incredibly clear on my monitor(apple 30 inch). This is an amazing wallpaper, wow.

Very nice Richard. I don't see any banding (just banded cloud formations), though this can happen with sky gradients in Vue.

I do think this scene could use something to give it a sense of scale.

Just trying to keep it simple. I had a distant city in there at first but I decided to go without it..So you have Chrohn's too...Small world..

NO. It's definitely banding, and the noise on the lower-left part is more than noticeable, making the whole picture unbalanced. The tone could be interesting. I would score this picture average wasn't for the evident flaws already pointed out.

I think it's fantastic but when I look too closely at the foreground I can't work out where the water starts and that creates a wierd illusion of the lake running uphill to the right.. :)

It's is a great image, though. Thanks

The look that the water has makes me want a candy-coated apple REALLY bad. :)

I'd like some differentiation in the coast (like Clyde mentioned) but aside from that, this is really cool stuff. Agree with what you said, simple. I don't normally comment but this one tickled me. I like

Good work
