I love the warped perspective. Great twist on a classic shot.
Is the title a Cowboy Bebop reference by any chance?

@kailoIL
Yes, I know that wallpaper but that's different and it was posted a while ago. This one was a closer look at the falls and it's description read that it was the lower Yosemite fall.
Never mind...I don't think anyone would have seen that wallpaper as it was there for a very short duration.

Have to agree with Geosim. I like the picture a lot actually, but the lines and asymmetry screw with my eyes.

As usual, many thanks for your comments.
@ knaim 2: I took the picture from a platform next to the regular walk in the middle of the bridge. You can see it here:

@ Geosim, Trout:
The problem here is that this shot obviously has been a long exposure. For that you need a tripod and a firm surface to place it on. I don't know if you've been standing on Brooklyn Bridge before but boy is that thing shaking! You really need a tripod and good luck to take a more or less sharp long exposure. Furthermore, it's not possible to place the tripod any further to the left as I already did because you would probably commit suicide by falling onto the street. And since I wanted the complete skyline of New York and not just fracture, I went for that solution. Would you rather prefer a symmetric shot but a cropped skyline?
@ Mrredpopo:
Sorry, I'm not familiar with that band. I tried out a series of titles like "Brooklyn Traffic, Manhattan Driveway etc" but I liked "New York Rush" the best because it reminded me of that N64 game "San Francisco Rush".

I am not a photographer, I'm just happy regarding great pictures. And I don't like symmetric photographs. So at least one person is happy with the assymetric view. ;-)
So now I count 36 photographs from Macindows in my wallpaper rotation. There's not one, that I didn't like so far and I'm looking forward on the next submission.
