Twin Peaks

August 9th, 2010

Shot in San Francisco's Twin Peaks, overlooking the beautiful bay area. It was a beautiful day, I decided to go up to the peaks and take a few snapshots.

Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM.

Was the car at the bottom left standing still?

That's one beautiful view! To me though, the picture is sort of relaxing because of the dawn but also sort of busy b/c of all the lights and buildings around. Nonetheless, this makes for a great desktop and picture!

Can it be seen from here the place were Laura Palmer was found?

Very cheap, I know. But couldn't resist.

Nice pic, btw

the long exposure effect gets lost in this picture. it was too early in the day hence still too bright. the result is the same as if you took the same shot one hour early with a standard 1/200 shutter. it could have been a great shot, had you waited for an hour or so.

I live just under where this was photographed (which I assume is the Tourist Lookout area on Twin Peaks Blvd). My view from my apartment is slightly to the right of this. I believe the tallest Mountain on the far right of this gorgeous photo is Mount Diablo.
