Wow. A little too dark for the iPhone, but beautiful and with something a little different on the desktop.

Breathtaking - happy to see the Säntis with its montsrous antenna is in the clouds. Instantly made it my new wallpaper. Thanks.

Very, very cool. This has just about everything I could ask for in a desktop. Mood, composition, colors, and that "wow" factor. Keep 'em coming.

At first, I thought the thumbnail was enough and there wasn't going to be much to this one. I was TOTALLY wrong. The full size is spectacular and then when I saw the houses and sheep to get a better idea of scale all I could think is WOW!!! That would be an awesome place to live...not sure where the roads are though. Anyway it is awesome.

i absolutely LOVE it.. i just wish the clouds were a bit higher so that we could see the mountain tops but nevertheless it is stunning...
I like that the rocks on this left side, give the whole image a sense of depth that many other landscape wallpapers lack...

The ridiculous sharpness makes it useless for a wallpaper, IMO. The left hill looks like it's been cut in (different lighting), as do the clouds (absolutely no transparency).
The trees are too fatiguing to the eye - a little depth would've helped.

this photo would look absolutely incredible on a say a 52" tv, but on a 24" monitor, which is what i have, it doesnt do much justice. my eyes never know where too look, although they usually go straight to that piece of mountain in the foreground peeking in from the left which is very distracting and fake looking i might add.
but anyway, this is a breathtaking scene nonetheless.
I almost would consider taking it down the street and getting it blown up to put on my wall; after i clean up that mountain that doesnt look right of course..

Thank for the remarks.
It's a HDR out of 3 pictures with 0.7EV difference for each. Developed with HDR Expose and Photoshop CS5
The rock in the left isn't cut into the picture, he is just illuminated by the sun who was in my back.
If there is demand for a improved "softer" Version with more details and a more subtile Lightning on teh left rock just tell me and i will put a another version to the loupe.
greets

Fantastic wallpaper! The breathtaking scenery and most importantly the mellow tones, absence of extreme black/white, gives it a long lasting place on my desktop! :D

Simply stunning. It's been awhile since I have changed my bg, but this one will have a home on my screen for a long time. Thank you.
