Neon Leaf

October 13th, 2010

I shoot this with my mobile last year in my yard. The Sun was shining from the back of the leaf and the ribs where very obvious. Edited after for a more dramatic look.

Sony Ericsson K800 and Adobe Photoshop CS4.

WOW!!! This was fast!!! Just a couple of hours on the Loupe.

It is clear that most of the original image was lost during the editing process. I thought it was completely fictitious but I really like anyway!!!

You did a very good job covering up the 'quality' of a cell-phone camera. It looks really nice and calm.

Perhaps a third nuance could be edited into the shadows for more effect (e.g black-green-purple)

Thank you for the positive feedback!
Yeah, that was fast!

I tried to do my best in the editing because i used a phone (a dslr whould be great but i dont have the money for it).

Brilliant! I used a K800i for 3 years and its camera was and still is the best cell phone camera I have ever used! Granted you've covered most of the details up with pshop but its still very well cropped with great colour editing.

Yeah, it was one of the best :)
I wanted this effect, so i am happy with it. But of course i had to cover the noise and the upscaling :P
Thanks!
