Twilight in The Big Apple

A composition of two hastily taken shots atop the Empire State Building. We were fortunate to have arrived at the viewing deck during twilight on a beautiful evening in early July 2009. By no means is this my best work but the colours were too exciting and changing too quickly to miss.
Canon EOS 50D, Sigma 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS HSM IF lens. Edited in Adobe Photoshop CS5 and managed in Apple Aperture 3.

Really liked this one, such beautiful colours.
The only thing I find a bit distracting, it's the antennas (?) and the buildings in the centre being a bit inclined.
