Leopard Stare

December 30th, 2010

Taken at the Jungle Park in Tenerife while on holiday. Not an easy shot to get as it was from behind glass and this particular Leopard kept pacing around its enclosure. Not the best zoo for photographs.

Canon EOS 500D, Canon EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM, Apple Aperture 3.

Oh wow! What a nice shot. I love the perfect depth of field--striking definition of the eyes and ear hair.

With your kind permission, I'm am going to experiment with darkening portions of the background to bring the foreground into slightly greater relief.

I love the shot, especially since it's taken behind glass and still looks this great

I think it requires more color, it's a little bluish.
