Beautiful! Good to see you getting into photography more. This is a great shot I love HD water drop shots. Especially symmetrical ones like this. I like the crown that formed from the second drop it looks really cool. Thanks Richard! =)

What's the key to getting such interesting shapes in the drops? Is it just water? Most of the time if I just drop water, it just makes one dollop vertically.

I use this thing called the drip kit & time machine--> http://www.bmumford.com/photo/waterdrops/dripkit.html thanks guys..

Take a look at this page,( http://www.diyphotography.net/the-comprehensive-water-drop-photography-guide ) it kind of explains how things are done & water additives, flashes.. The photo is of 2 drops the second drop colliding with first drop after it's hit the water..

Love the effect with the two-drop collition. Maybe some more wicked light (red/purple/green) could be interesting. Though hands up, a great shot...

I love this shot! It makes me want to order the drip kit and time machine so I can play with it and see what I can do! This is going to be the wallpaper on my computer for awhile.

This is still the best water drop photo I have to date. Love the sharpness, symmetry and size at which I can download this. I even have a version of this on my cell phone and I just put it back on my background on my computer and my phone again for like the tenth time. I already commented but just letting you know again that I really love this shot so much and I dare somebody to make a better water drop shot than this! :P Thanks again Richard!
