Took this photo from the Toronto CN tower this past Summer. The sky was amazing.

Nikon D300s, 10mm Sigma, CPL filter and some adjustments in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.

It is a great view. Especially with what parts of it are clear. Good job.

However I think the blurred sections make my eyes water a bit. I commend the photo but I would not use this on the desktop as I find it to be somewhat of a strain on the eyes. And it's a bit bright.

Just what I love in a desktop background: Black and White, and Skyscrapers

I am not a big fan of the extra bokeh added. Could you post a version without it?

I also think this is a strain on the eyes. Another good example of why the loupe voting process should let you see the whole image big and not just the very middle. Which in this case is sharp in the middle and people wouldn't have realized the extent of the bokeh applied to this photo. Good shot though and I second seeing a version without the major blur job.

I love this and love the "corridor" of focus you have created along the cities taller buildings. Also like the high-key look. Very effective IMO.

The only thing I like about this image its black and white. Other than that you kind of ruined the picture. My eyes started crying when I sore this in HD... Definitely not a fan of this sorry. Would be a lot better if you left it how it was.

Cheers

Remove the blurry and make it as a default! Would be a lot better.

Thanks a lot for the original now I can enjoy it without the strain on my eyes. I never knew how big and beautiful this city was, and you're right, the sky WAS amazing that day! =)

Thanks for the original, now it's my wallpaper. Did you try to do a tilt-shift effect?

Finally a recent photo of Toronto - one of the world's great cities and, until now, underappreciated on this website. After NTC, Toronto has the most highrises/skyscrapers in North America. Beautiful City. Great photo, well done.. keep the Toronto wallpapers coming!
