Tower of Arms
By rkhanmoh
July 20th, 2011
Was travelling through Leeds, UK a few years ago and stumbled upon a Museum of Arms and Armour. One of the displays was this atrium stretching over all 3 floors, covered in weaponry of various sorts. It just screamed out for a picture.
Panasonic Lumix Compact, Adobe Photoshop for post-cleansing.

What a cool place I love medieval weapons and armor so I would have loved to see this place. I think you did a pretty good job with what you had to work with. Besides it being a little off center and not perfectly straight, I think your choice of centering the roof was a good one. It's not your fault the roof isn't that appealing or that they could have organized the older weapons and armor better, like they did with the guns. Overall, interesting to look at and I'm not sure how you could have captured that place better than you did so thanks! Now I'm off to crop the largest version and center it a little better. =)

Fantastic photo! I love the angle, and having it be in black and white works very well for this piece.

Thanks everyone, really appreciate the feedback.
razorsharp - see your point, it does offset it nicely, but I see Daddy's point.
Daddy, thanks for the feedback. Totally agree - only realised the roof was off-centre when I got back home unfortunately.
Glad you all liked it though :)

Fantastic shot, for some reason I get a very "SciFi" feel from this one. And at the same time it combines the weapons to give it an old feel. Just a superb composition.

This is a great composition of fabulous subject matter. I love the metallic feel of it and the exposure is perfect. Really, really good image!! Congratulations!

This is a very interesting place. I especially like the asymmetry with the windows being offset from each other on opposite sides. I think that may be why Daddy thinks your angle is a bit off.
