The great Multnomah Falls in Oregon. Lighting wasn't ideal, but you can never be too picky in Oregon!
Nikon D7000, Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G ED, Adobe Lightroom.

Thanks for the comments, Brad. I'm glad you liked the shutter speed choice, I felt it was a good blend of detail and motion. Sometimes, water should look like water!
I have more in the series that capture the perspective at my website. If I waited until the afternoon, I could more easily capture the full scene. As is, the light was too uneven to make anything work! Here is the direct link: http://colindub.com/multnomah-falls/

Wow. Looking at your site, the perspective really does help. I like this picture but I think I like the ones on the site even more.
Great shooting.

Beautiful shot and good exposure and minimal vignetting. Definitely keeping this... I'm a sucker for waterfalls and I love Oregon. The green hills in spring in most of the state are breathtaking.
The only thing that I think would have made this shot better would be if the sun was out more and in a better position to illuminate this fall with more vibrant natural light. This is not your fault of course it's the sun's! Heheh... It looks as if it was overcast that day although it might just be the post-processing. Also maybe by stepping back a couple feet and pointing the camera up just a tiny bit more would have created more depth for a more overall pleasing view.

As you mentioned, the lighting is perfect, but it's really not bad. The biggest thing that I would suggest is that I wish there was something to give us a perspective on how big of a thing this is. I think zooming out to capture more of the surroundings would help. There's no tree or bush or anything to give me the impression of "Wow this is huge!" or "Oh, how little!". Just my $0.02...
Keep up the good work!
