Twilight at Raven's Roost

October 6th, 2011

Fog quickly rolls in during a sunset photoshoot at the Raven's Roost overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. This was the last image I was able to capture before the backdrop was totally white from fog.

Canon EOS 50D, Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM, Apple Aperture 3.

Good shot! The post-coloring is interesting and it works well. Good detail even in the dark areas of the rocks in the foreground. Haha matt I just saw yours too and I like it! I guess people are drawn to stand there and shoot that tree like both of you did. =)
