Marine Drive

By far the most gorgeous view in Mumbai. I shot this picture about 20 minutes before sunrise.
Nikon D700, Nikon AF-S VR Zoom-NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED. Shot at 70mm, f/16, 30 seconds.

Thanks for pointing that out. When I was originally working with this photo in lightroom, I had cropped out that part. When I decided to upload it to interfacelift, I selected the 16:10 ratio (because thats what they accept). After selecting it, lightroom undid the crop and I completely missed it (because it was such a minor crop)

Honestly, I kind of prefer having the people in it. It gives it life (obviously) and could be used to suggest something else.
Technical accuracy sometimes needs to succumb to artistic vision.
Overall, very nice shot.

Great to see fellow Mumbaikars here! Beautiful click. A lot of people have tried to capture the beauty of the Queen's Necklace but I feel you have succeeded.
The color of the sea looks a bit artificial though..

It's nice. I thought that the bottom left was a sewer drain at first lol... Nice colors, maybe the sea is a little too bright and overall it might be +2-4 too much saturation. The people that moved around are the only ones that bug me in this piece, because of the exposed light streaks they leave. Sharp details and great balance. Definitely a keeper thanks for sharing Anshul...

I love this picture! I'm originally from Bombay but I'm studying abroad and I miss home sometimes. Early morning, before sunrise was my favourite time to go for a walk or jog at Marine Drive; the sky at the time is absolutely spectacular and I think you've captured that really well. Beautiful picture. Made my day!
I was wondering where this is taken from?

There's a couple of technical points I'd make: there's what seems to be some fairly obvious cloning in the bottom left of the picture (watch the white line on the edge of the road, it jumps quite obviously - and I'd guess there was just an inconvenient vehicle in the way) and, if it were me, I'd have probably airbrushed the human elements out. As ever with this sort of thing, the criticism takes more space than the praise (because it needs explanation), but it really is a minor concern. All in all, a great picture.
